Could you be the full-time Configuration and Data Management Specialist in [LOCATION] we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your configuration management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and governance of our configuration management database (CMDB), which serves as the single source of truth for our global IS&T operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including service owners, application owners, architects, and IS&T Directors, to enhance processes, implement automation, and ensure alignment with Alstom's global strategy. You’ll also drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of digital transformation within the IS&T organization.

You’ll specifically take care of maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, but also defining and implementing a robust configuration management governance model.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Supporting the positioning and use of the CMDB as the single point of truth

  • Ensuring an end-to-end view of the configuration management process and acting as a key point of contact for BAU topics

  • Driving governance and day-to-day activities with a wide network of stakeholders

  • Continuously improving the accuracy and completeness of the CMDB and expanding its scope to cover the entire IS&T landscape

  • Advancing the automation of data uploads to the CMDB

  • Communicating configuration management strategies, priorities, and projects to both internal and external partners

  • Maintaining awareness and alignment with the IT leadership team through regular reporting

  • Measuring stakeholder satisfaction and implementing improvement plans
