Could you be the full-time Work Load & Sub Contracting Lead in Bangalore we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering delivery and project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a key role in shaping Alstom’s engineering services strategy by ensuring seamless collaboration between global clusters and India’s Shared Engineering Centre (SEC). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., regional management committees, engineering clusters, and central engineering teams), drive workload planning and governance, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of fostering strong partnerships with global clusters to meet workload targets, but also lead initiatives to promote innovation and standardization of work processes.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Active participation in global workload forums and adapting to recent updates.
  • Managing and submitting India’s workload file as per consolidation cycles.
  • Establishing strong governance mechanisms to track and resolve open issues.
  • Collaborating with clusters to internalize workload and identify external demand opportunities.
  • Driving India’s collaboration roadmap and capability demonstrations.
  • Supporting clusters with RFQs, purchase orders, and invoicing processes.
  • Promoting innovation, cross-pollination of best practices, and process improvements.
  • Leading monthly governance reviews with Services leadership teams.
  • Ensuring cost optimization and standardization of tools, processes, and ways of working.


All about you

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in engineering delivery and project management, including work package and risk management.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and BI applications.
  • Knowledge of engineering processes, tools, and methods.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, including conflict resolution.
  • Experience in international collaboration, particularly with Europe and the Americas.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of German or French is a plus.
  • Financial acumen to manage activities worth €15M annually.
  • Continual improvement mindset and a passion for driving transformation and innovation.
