As a V&V Engineer, he/she will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through rigorous verification and validation processes. You will utilize your expertise in Python and web testing frameworks such as Selenium or Puppeteer to automate testing processes, while also leveraging your DevOps experience to enhance our CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Python and web applications.
- Conduct automated testing using frameworks such as Selenium and Puppeteer to verify front-end functionality and performance.
- Collaborate closely with software developers and product teams to identify requirements and understand application functionality.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD processes to integrate automated testing into the development workflow.
- Develop and manage test scripts for continuous integration and deployment.
- Analyse test results, document defects, and track issues through to resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate to enhance code quality and testing practices.
- Monitor application performance and validate system behaviour under various scenarios.
- Support the adoption of DevOps culture and practices within the testing team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software testing, particularly in Verification and Validation.
- Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with web automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Puppeteer).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, tools, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team.
