Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in complex software/systems testing in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

You'll make a significant impact by ensuring the quality and reliability of safety-critical systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including development, design, and operations teams), conduct rigorous testing, and ensure compliance with verification and validation processes, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of automation testing using Python and the Robot Framework, but also contribute to performance and robustness testing for microservices applications.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Executing complex software/systems testing with a focus on safety-critical systems

  • Applying deep knowledge of verification and validation methodologies

  • Conducting automation testing using Python and Robot Framework

  • Performing microservices testing, including performance and robustness testing

  • Utilising tools such as RabbitMQ, Docker, and Kubernetes for distributed system architecture

  • Ensuring requirement management and traceability


All about you

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • 5-8 years’ experience in complex software/systems testing

  • Experience in automation testing using Python and Robot Framework

  • Understanding of verification and validation methodologies

  • Experience in testing safety-critical systems

  • Knowledge of microservices testing, including performance and robustness testing

  • Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, OPC, and XML

  • Experience in working in an international and multicultural environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Railway systems knowledge and transport domain knowledge (preferred)
