Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your software validation expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside highly motivated and innovative teammates.
You'll ensure that software and its components fulfill their intended use in real or simulated environments, contributing to the development of complex Kubernetes-based solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including system, program, and quality teams, to meet commitments for quality, cost, and delivery, while also creating reusable solutions and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of defining test strategies, designing validation environments, and integrating components, but also automating integration and validation tasks.
We’ll look to you for:

Defining the test strategy, test plan, estimations, and delivery schedules.

Designing and developing validation environments and tools (e.g., web/desktop applications, VM, test benches, OS, tools installation).

Ensuring requirements traceability according to the Requirements Management Plan.

Integrating components from various development teams and preparing validation platforms.
-
Using automation scripts and batch files to streamline integration and validation tasks.
-
Producing validation result reports and associated change requests (defects).
-
Contributing to standardization by reusing or implementing reusable solutions.

Maintaining strong links with architects and designers throughout the software validation cycle.

Applying organizational processes and standards.

Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Engineering – IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent.

8+ years of experience in software testing and requirement-based testing.
-
Good knowledge of software module/functional and integration testing.
-
Experience with testing techniques like black box, boundary value analysis, and robustness analysis (exposure to Kubernetes-based application testing is an advantage).

Understanding of regression analysis.
-
Knowledge of configuration management tools like ClearCase.
-
Experience with bug reporting tools like Bugzilla or Clear Quest.
-
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Shell, with experience on Linux/Ubuntu platforms being a strong advantage.

Knowledge of the railway signaling domain is a plus.

Familiarity with protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, IMP, HTTPS, TLS) and standards (CENELEC SIL4 / DO178A / DO178).

Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Innovative mindset with the ability to create reusable code libraries and adapt to project dynamics.
