Could you be the full-time V&V Architect in Bangalore we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your embedded systems expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside motivated and innovative teammates.

You'll play a key role in designing and delivering software modules, ensuring they meet the highest quality and safety standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., software designers, system users, and V&V designers), contribute to software architecture design, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of developing and testing software modules, but also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and standardization efforts.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Contributing to the elaboration of software specifications and architecture design.

  • Developing, coding, and testing software modules.

  • Setting up and utilizing software development toolchains.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software architects, hardware designers, and RAMS and V&V departments.

  • Ensuring compliance with processes and standards throughout the software design cycle.

  • Driving continuous improvement by sharing best practices and lessons learned.


All about you

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering – IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent.

  • 10+ years of experience in designing software modules for complex embedded systems.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C and scripting languages like Python.

  • Experience with multi-core/multi-threaded programming and operating systems like Linux, RTOS, or VxWorks.

  • Strong understanding of communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, CIP, TRDP, MVB).

  • Knowledge of embedded concepts, including multi-threading and inter-process communication (IPC).

  • Experience with low-level embedded software design and debugging complex systems.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, secure network communications, and security domains.

  • Rail industry experience is desirable, though similar industries will also be considered.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with global teams across different geographies.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, innovative mindset.
