Purpose of the Job

Ensure that the Digital Transformation function reach the expected competency level through development and training actions

Contribute to & consolidate a solid level of awareness on the Digital Tranformation (DT) training content, either specific for the function or developed for overall Alstom population, as per the specific target/objective (ex. knowledge of the business)

Develop & consolidate knowledge of experts in IT


Main responsibilities

- Translate the competency upskilling strategy for the Digital Transformation (DT) function into comprehensive plan (training, mentorships, etc…), as per the orientations given by the CDTO.

- Set and monitor relevant KPIs

- Define and Manage the DT people qualifications:

  • define the training modules mapping and content      
  • design, test and improve the training modules (function-specific or for broader audience)
  • ensure development and certification of trainers in all regions in cooperation with Alstom University
  • define standards and targets
  • animate measurement of people skills with DT Function heads
  • structure & animate the action plan to reach the targets, provide relevant KPIs to each site and region

- Participate in the development of experts:

  • Design development actions for experts and future experts

- Ensure communication about DT Academy Program, schedule and training/qualification results and KPIs

- Establish close links and work on transverse actions with other Academies

- Work closely with the HR BP and the DT”s Global performance on establishing/updating/Improving generic job descriptions and competency matrixes

Position based in Bangalore / some international travel




Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology


  • 8-10 year experience in IT sector as service generalist or in continuous improvement field
  • At ease in international, matrix environment
  • Experience in content/knowledge management / training administration
  • Broad knowledge of Digital transformation segments & jobs & required competencies (mainly IS&T),
  • Capacity to think ahead and consider future market challenges in terms of skills
