Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and analytical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in defining the architecture and functionalities of Train Control & Information System (TC&IS) subsystems, ensuring their seamless integration into the train. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (such as sourcing, suppliers, and validation engineers), ensure compliance with requirements, and manage change and configuration processes, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of delivering subsystem documentation (Requirement Specification and Architecture Description, Technical Purchase Specification, Interface Control Document), but also support sourcing and engineering teams with inputs and expertise.
We’ll look to you for:
- Defining and implementing the functional, performance, transverse, and train-level requirements of the dedicated subsystem
- Integrating the subsystem into the train, both mechanically and electrically
- Defining the interface (mechanical and electrical) for the dedicated subsystem
- Verifying the subsystem at the train level, including conducting design reviews
- Managing change and configuration processes for the subsystem at the train level
- Planning and following up on all activities linked to the subsystem
- Providing support to sourcing, suppliers, production units, system & architecture engineers, interior engineers, RAMS engineers, and validation engineers

- Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Electronics, or Systems Engineering with 5+ Years of experience.
- Experience or understanding of subsystem integration, including mechanical and electrical aspects
- Knowledge of train control systems and their subsystems (e.g., PACIS, CCTV, Multimedia, Event Recorder, Train Ground Communication, ATC/Safety equipment)
- Familiarity with system verification and validation processes
- A certification in systems engineering or project management is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
