Could you be the full-time Train RAMS Engineer in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS) expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll help ensure the safety and reliability of Alstom’s innovative transport solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (design, validation, sourcing, and quality teams), foster alignment with external stakeholders, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of defining safety and reliability requirements to meet performance targets, but also coordinating with internal and external RAMS contributors to ensure compliance with standards and customer expectations.
We’ll look to you for:

Planning and piloting RAMS activities and deliverables for assigned projects or programs

Assessing and demonstrating the safety levels of Alstom’s products

Evaluating and improving reliability performance to minimize risks
-
Defining safety requirements and ensuring their timely implementation
-
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to align on RAMS objectives
-
Supporting design reviews and contributing to safety authorizations
-
Proactively identifying and addressing potential issues in RAMS scope

Degree in Electrical, Electro-mechanical, or Railway Engineering

2–3 years of experience in railway safety analysis and demonstration methods

Experience with RAM prediction and measurement methods

Knowledge of railway product integration or validation (training will be provided for RAMS competency)

Familiarity with technical reporting and time management
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including with external stakeholders

Operational proficiency in English for technical meetings and documentation

A structured, hands-on, and customer-focused approach
