Could you be the full-time Train Performance Manager in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and leadership expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring train performance fulfils customer and regulatory requirements while meeting project quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) objectives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as System Engineers, Sub-System Engineers, and Certification & Authorization teams), lead functional analyses, and ensure the alignment of sub-system designs with overarching performance targets, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of translating customer and regulatory requirements into train-level specifications, but also oversee reliability, logistic support analysis (LSA), cybersecurity, and validation activities.
We’ll look to you for:

Acting as the main technical focal point for the customer on train performance topics

Converting customer and regulatory requirements into train-level specifications

Leading functional analyses, specifications, and architecture in collaboration with sub-system groups

Ensuring consistency and compatibility between sub-system specifications
-
Supporting sub-system engineers to achieve compliance with requirements

Overseeing train verification, validation, and certification deliverables
-
Driving technical issue resolution during train revenue service

A master’s degree in engineering or equivalent qualification

Extensive experience in railway engineering (10+ years preferred)

Knowledge of products, projects, systems, and processes within the rail industry

Strong skills in technical management and stakeholder communication

Fluency in Business English

Problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills in complex environments

Ability to foster collaboration and lead cross-functional teams

Readiness to travel as needed
