Could you be the full-time Train Electrical Engineer (TEE) in Bangalore we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your electrical engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, cost, and delivery of electrical engineering deliverables, contributing to the success of our projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Engineering Managers, Train System Engineers, Experts, and RAMS specialists), provide operational management of the Schematics & Apparatus (S&A) and Electrical Harness Integration (EHI) teams, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of architecture definition, technology choices, and harness integration, but also lead design reviews and manage team deliverables.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Conducting carry-over analysis for electrical products to identify reusable components

  • Contributing to workload and non-recurring cost (NRC) estimations

  • Defining electrical architecture, including equipment content, positioning, pathways, and break zones

  • Collaborating on the definition of scope of supply between train and subsystems

  • Interfacing between project teams and the Center of Excellence (CoE) for electrical engineering

  • Managing internal and external activities, including workload, planning, and risk assessments

  • Ensuring baselining and deliverables reviews for your scope

  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the electrical engineering domain

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

  • Experience or understanding of railway electrical engineering

  • Knowledge of electrical CAD tools like See One or Catia EHI

  • Familiarity with train systems, functions, and industrialization and manufacturing of harnesses

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in activity or team management

  • Strong communication skills in spoken and written English

  • Ability to functionally manage a team of 5 to 10 people
