Could you be the full-time Traction System Skill Leader in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in traction systems to a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in shaping the technical development of our engineering community, ensuring the application of best practices, and driving continuous improvement. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineers, domain leaders, and skill leaders across multiple sites), chair design reviews, and provide technical support and training to engineers, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of defining and deploying best practices, guidelines, tools, and templates in the traction domain, but also ensure the technical quality of deliverables and support problem-solving activities.
We’ll look to you for:

Capitalizing on return of experience in the traction domain

Defining and spreading best practices across the engineering community
-
Creating and updating knowledge guidelines, tools, and templates
-
Chairing design reviews and approving technical solutions
-
Monitoring and applying evolving standards and regulations
-
Coaching and training engineers to develop their expertise
-
Providing support to engineers and contributing to problem-solving activities

Engineering degree

Ten years of experience in the traction domain

Good knowledge of traction systems for railway applications

Deep technical expertise in the traction field

Strong ability to train and coach others

Experience with problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and QRQC
-
Strong skills in communication, cooperation, technical leadership, and continuous improvement
-
Fluency in English for effective communication with engineers, management, and customers

Creativity and innovation within the technical domain
