Could you be the full-time Component Project Manager in our Region Traction Project Organisation we’re looking for Bangalore, KA.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates.

You'll contribute to the successful execution of project components, ensuring alignment with Quality Cost Delivery Performance (QCDP) objectives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Sub-System team, Project Core Team), coordinate activities, manage stakeholder relationships, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of cascading and allocating component requirements, but also planning and monitoring component activities.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Delivering the QCDP commitment of your component Work Package scope
  • Leading and synchronizing component level teams and stakeholders
  • Managing component level decisions and trade-offs
  • Executing the scope of work according to the Component Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable standards and processes
  • Representing Alstom towards customers and external stakeholders when delegated

  • A Master's degree or Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 years of experience as a manager of an operational scope
  • Understanding of multi-national companies and diverse business cultures
  • Familiarity with Alstom's processes for efficient execution
  • A background in Traction/Propulsion/Rolling Stock is a plus
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills
  • Result-oriented with knowledge of project management processes
  • Ability to lead and ensure collaboration of multi-functional teams
  • Agility and proactiveness in your approach to work
