Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and strategic expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a critical role in shaping the future of traction transformers at Alstom. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as project management, tendering, and engineering teams), act as a technical referent across regions, and provide expert guidance during technical reviews and tenders.

You’ll specifically take care of consolidating and structuring knowledge within your domain of expertise, but also mentoring future experts, newcomers, and engineering teams to ensure knowledge transfer and development.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Providing a strategic vision for traction transformers and contributing to innovation roadmaps

  • Supporting global sites and projects upon request

  • Representing Alstom in technical conferences and influencing standards and regulatory forums

  • Developing and improving technical repositories, including Standard Solutions, SIPOC, and Design to Cost

  • Contributing training material and supporting Alstom Technical Academy initiatives

  • Participating actively in Core Networks and representing your site or region in internal and external forums

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

  • Experience or understanding of traction transformers and their applications

  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements

  • Familiarity with innovation processes and roadmaps

  • A certification in project management or a related discipline
