Responsibilities

 

TENDER

 

  1. Manage the sourcing activity of the Tender and the Ref Sol / Ref Lib
  2. Drive Solution / Sourcing Domains relation to the sourcing Strategy 

Collects and Challenges functional requirements on commodity with Market constraints. Animates workshop between sourcing domains and Technical team, provides regular feedback on strategy application and effeciency. Share the business forecasts, market constraints, QCD targets per commodity and influence sourcing strategy

  1. Drive Material Cost Optimisation of the reference Library ; Collects and formalizes return on

experience on solutions which were successful or not in projects, brings new ideas, challenges solution requirements when relevant, ensures implementation in Liason with sourcing Domains, identifies risks and mitigation Plans

  1. Cost Manager : Drive Cost Breakdown analysis in the commodity to Challenge technical and sourcing to improve the cost as the cost manager of the commodity
  2. Design to cost : Drive design to cost mind set / methodoligies to challenge customer, technical , Industrial and Sourcing to reduce the cost
  3. Consolidate sourcing QCD commitment at tender phase : Provides requirements ( By Gap ) to sourcing domains and challenges them when relevant, consolidates the material cost commitment, proposes ambitions based on reference Library improvement plans uses Tender sourcing Plan to check position Vs Cost and LCC Baseline, Panel Compliance.
  4. Tender Transfer Management : During Tender to Project phase make the transfer of sourcing commitment and communicate sourcing strategy to the Project Sourcing Manager

 

 

Requirements

Experience needed would be around 13 to 15 Years.

Preferred Engineering Background.

Strong Sourcing and Costing experience.

Candidate with Cost Manager profile preferred.

Excellent communication Skills and a strong team player.
