The Tender Engineer shall work with the Design Authority and program management in all the activities related to the tenders being executed. He shall be responsible for the successful completion of the activities related to ATS QCD estimation for projects and shall also support on technical deliverables for tender.




  • Independently applies extensive expertise as a specialist to meet company standards and customer requirements.
  • Leads or participate in technical discussions directly with customer and represents/projects Company interests.
  • Mentors those less experienced in the department.
  • Develops solutions to complex problems requiring innovation and creativity.
  • Reviews customer tender specification documents and prepares technical proposals and cost estimates as requested.
  • Follow and improve reference library for tender estimates.
  • Acts as an Interface with the Clients.
  • Performs other related activities as requested.



Qualifications & Skills:



  • BE/B.Tech/M.Tech with 4 to 6 years of experience in tender engineering and process.



  • Strong Communication and Inter-personnel skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with different people and teams of people by putting others at ease.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, while maintaining effectiveness.



  • Knowledge on signalling
  • Contribute to internal process improvement activities.
  • Knowledgeable in Quality practices.
  • Possesses working knowledge in some of the  following areas: SCADA/control room application, Vital/Non-Vital Logic Design, Circuit check, Interface designs, communication designs, Generating test plans and/or procedures, Detail design, Railway signalling, Process control systems.
  • Should be capable to effectively communicate with subordinates and with International Clients.
  • Exhibits Project Management Skills
  • Preparation of estimates for the work packages
  • Technical expertise in functional area.



  • Mandatory : Signalling domain knowledge, Tender process
  • Optional : DOORS (Requirement management and Traceability), system specification.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English language
