Technical Solution Specialist -DMAGS

Job purpose:

Reporting to the IS&T Senior Technical lead for Engineering applications, you will be in charge of developing and maintaining the Alstom Mechanical digital mock-up solution based on Dassault Systemes products (Enovia VPMV4 / Catia V5) and you will act as a control tower to ensure overall consistency on its applicative landscape.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to all phases of the application lifecycle from definition, architecture, design through implementation / development, debugging, testing and early support
• Provide technical and domain expertise on complex topics
• Participate in requirements gathering and specifications creation
• Lead technical design and architecture
• Maintain technical solution referential & design documentation
• Support internal operations and partner teams with regards to critical and complex incidents
• Control quality of partners deliverables
• Develop, change and improve processes
• Build best practices on development activities and continuous improvement
• Liaise with Dassault Systems on performance and architectural topics
• Build best practices on support activities and continuous improvement
• Develop, change, and improve processes
• Control and drive, cross functional applications issues including interfaces

Educational Requirements

• Graduated with an engineering degree in information technology

   

Work experience
More than 7 years of experience PLM solutions in various support roles

Competencies

• To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:
• Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology, you have more than 7 years of experience in PLM solutions on various technical roles
• You have worked for global companies either as a service provider or as a customer, ideally both roles
• You have solid knowledge on IT infrastructure systems: server, database, network, storage
• You have deep technical knowledge on Dassault Systemes Enovia VPMV4 and CATIAV5 products regarding technical architecture and development/customization
• You have deep developments skills on several languages including C, C++ and Java
• You demonstrate good communication, efficiency and ability to execute. You are result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity.
• You have a very strong leadership and are business value oriented.
• Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom
