Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and analytical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of system application design solutions that meet customer expectations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Requirement Managers, Project Architects, Sub-System Leaders), analyze technical requirements, and ensure alignment with project schedules, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of defining system-level documents (e.g., Functional, Operational, and Constructional), but also producing key system application design deliverables such as signalling scheme plans, design principles, and operational specifications.
We’ll look to you for:

Collaborating with the Requirement Manager and Project Architect to allocate technical requirements to stakeholders.

Defining and producing system-level documents (e.g., Requirement Specifications, Architecture, Operational Specifications).

Delivering project application documents such as Scheme Plans, Signalling Rules, and Network Addressing Plans.

Managing system requirement traceability within the Requirement Management Tool (e.g., DOORS).

Analyzing and responding to feedback from Testing & Commissioning, Verification & Validation, and customers.

Preparing project training materials (e.g., System Functions and Operations, Architecture, Scheme Plans).

Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Return on Experience, Work Method Statements).

Adhering to Alstom’s Code of Ethics and promoting the highest standards of ethical conduct.

Degree in Engineering or a related field.

Experience or understanding of signalling design principles and system application design processes.

Knowledge of requirement management tools (e.g., DOORS).

Familiarity with project engineering plans, change management, and configuration management processes.

A certification in project management or systems engineering is a plus.

Strong writing skills with clarity, rigor, and concision.

Fluent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
