Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in forecasting, project planning, and supply chain management in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and dynamic teammates.

You'll play a crucial role in ensuring supplier readiness to meet Alstom's global demand by conducting quarterly S&OP analysis cycles and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with stakeholders such as Supplier Delivery Performance Managers (SDPMs), Commodity Managers (CMs), Crisis Leaders (CLs), and Site Materials Planners, while also contributing to supplier capacity risk assessments and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of preparing and moderating quarterly S&OP analysis cycles, but also organizing Supplier S&OP restitution meetings and recommending actionable insights for decision-making.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Preparing, moderating, and running quarterly S&OP analysis cycles for all suppliers in the portfolio

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define and gather S&OP data for an 18-month horizon

  • Consolidating and presenting S&OP data with key findings and recommendations

  • Contributing to supplier delivery risk assessments before business awards

  • Supporting Crisis Management Teams in capacity de-bottlenecking and capability improvement actions

  • Conducting quarterly analyses of purchase orders versus production planning and lead times

  • Defining and following up on action plans to improve purchase order placement with Alstom sites

  • A university degree

  • At least 2 years of experience in forecasting, project planning, or production planning

  • Knowledge of S&OP processes, manufacturing tools, and operations processes

  • Proficiency in Office tools and good SAP knowledge

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint (preferred)

  • Fluent English

  • Team player with analytical, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills

  • Leadership with the ability to influence and communicate effectively

  • An international and multi-cultural mindset

  • Agility, responsibility, and a continuous improvement mindset
