We are currently looking for a Supplier Quality Development Manager to join our growing Quality team in India ! The primary responsibility of the SQD Manager will be to manage a small team of Engineers and assist with on-site audits with suppliers and coordiante the internal stakeholder relationship with the Quality team such as Procurement. 

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supplier Quality professional who is looking to take the next step in their career and work alongside a hiihg performing team. 

 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Organize the delivery of the audit plan , and all necessary actions to close the issues with the Supplier Quality Development teams  ( in his team and also relying on the teams in the Regions.
  • Influence sourcing strategy to improve the quality level of suppliers part of Alstom panel.
  • Ensure the consolidation and the analysis of the suppliers’ quality performance (communication to the suppliers, meetings with Suppliers)
  • Contribute to Global Quality Performance of the suppliers for Project execution (First Article Inspection (FAI) results, Non-Conformities, and Warranty Issues)
  • Perform Return Of experience (REX) analysis, share it with all stakeholders and support Trusted program.

 

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality or Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar industry with on-site supplier audit experience 
  • Familiar with supplier qualifications standards (ISO, ASME, IRIS, Local Standards, etc.)
  • Experience in reading through supplier contracts
  • Ability to manage budgets and supplier invoices
  • Competency to use computer applications and prepare KPIs and presentations
