Could you be the full-time Sub-System Planning Manager in Bangalore  we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your project planning and coordination expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and proactive teammates.

You’ll play a key role in driving the animation and coordination of interfaces between Train Level and Sub-Systems, ensuring efficient time management and supporting critical decision-making to achieve on-time delivery (OTD) performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across tendering, project execution, and program management, mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll specifically take care of creating and managing detailed schedules for tenders and projects, but also ensure compliance with contractual requirements and facilitate stakeholder alignment.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Creating detailed tender schedules based on internal standards, gap analysis, and bid strategies.

  • Defining tender preparation schedules and monitoring progress until submission.

  • Identifying critical paths and risks in development schedules, proposing optimization and mitigation actions.

  • Managing Sub-System planning, including critical paths and physical progress.

  • Coordinating all sites contributing to Sub-System development.

  • Alerting stakeholders to deviations and contributing to risk control.

  • Ensuring compliance with project strategy and contractual commitments.

  • Providing stakeholders with a clear vision of schedule critical paths and monitoring them effectively.

  • Driving consistency and alignment across internal and external stakeholders through regular sessions.

  • Delivering Physical Progress KPIs and contributing to Earned Value Management.

  • Promoting best practices and mentoring team members to foster continuous improvement.

  • Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.

  • Experience in project management and engineering.

  • Understanding of internal processes, including Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Quality.

  • Proficiency in project scheduling and scheduling tools.

  • 6-8 years of experience in roles such as PrPM, SSM, Planning Manager, Project Operation Planning Manager, Industrial Planner, or Construction Planner.

  • Experience in heavy industry or large projects; knowledge of railway products and systems is a plus.

  • Fluency in English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in an international, multicultural environment.

  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel and scheduling software like MS Project, Primavera, ODY.C, or Agile.

  • Strong organizational skills, a sense of anticipation, and the ability to manage conflicts and multitask effectively.
