Could you be the full-time Sr. Radio Engineer in Bangalore we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your radio engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and supportive teammates.

You'll play a key role in designing and delivering next-generation radio solutions for our projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (installation teams, cybersecurity teams, power experts), develop radio design specifications, and support deployment activities such as installation, testing, and commissioning – and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of elaborating N&T Radio Design specifications and architecture, as well as preparing and executing radio interference surveys, but also support functional validation phases and troubleshooting tasks.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Elaborating N&T Radio Design specifications and architecture in line with project needs and engineering rules

  • Developing and eliciting Radio Design requirements, focusing on spectrum management and cybersecurity

  • Studying country-specific spectrum standards/regulations for RF product deployment

  • Identifying technology requirements and gaps in collaboration with Product Architects

  • Ensuring adherence to quality processes and project documentation plans

  • Minimizing deployment costs, lead time, and risks through design

  • Preparing and executing radio surveys and tests

  • Providing iterations of installation studies and radio configuration files

  • Supporting installation and commissioning activities, including troubleshooting

  • Collecting and consolidating Return of Experience (REX) for continuous improvement

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • BE/Master’s degree in Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience in radio deployments in industrial environments, including interference mitigation

  • Knowledge of WiFi protocols (802.11a/b/n/ac)

  • Proficiency with monitoring tools and techniques (e.g., spectrum analyzer, IP analyzer, MIB principles)

  • Understanding of 4G/LTE technologies

  • Familiarity with IT/Supervision and signaling/system architecture (desirable)

  • Strong knowledge of radio propagation and solutions

  • Resilience, teamwork, and a results-oriented mindset

  • Rigorous and process-oriented approach

  • Excellent technical coordination and interpersonal skills

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines

  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling

  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues

  • Contribute to innovative projects

  • Utilise our flexible and inclusive working environment

  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning

  • Progress towards senior leadership or technical expert roles

  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
