  • To execute responsibilities related to monitoring and enhancement of internal controls environment and compliance in the GFCs

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES  

 

  • Continuously evaluate process design to assess adequacy and adherence by the GFCs to -
    • Internal control / SAPIN II requirements of the group
    • Segregation of duties requirements both inside and outside the systems
    • Delegation of Authorities
  • Recommend mitigative and preventive actions to enhance control design and effectiveness
  • Monitor, chase and own on-time closure of mitigative and preventive actions
  • Monitor effectiveness of mitigative and preventive actions
  • Enhance awareness of control requirements with operational teams through trainings
  • Handle / investigate specific compliance incidents and perform root cause analysis
  • Report root causes and recommend preventive actions
  • Establish, Track, report and improve KPIs on compliance
  • Co-ordinate internal / external audits on accounting controls within GFCs
  • Co-ordinate / support initiatives and at group level to enhance controls on accounting

 

 

Educational Requirements:  

Language: English (mandatory)

 

Mandatory:

  • Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant

 

Desirable:

 

 

Experience 

Mandatory:

  • Experience of 7-10 years of post qualification experience in a multi national environment
  • Atleast 3-4 years in an internal control function
  • Working knowledge of ERP

Desirable:

  • Exposure to a finance shared services environment

  • Basic skills in accounting tools
  • Exposure to accounting in ERPs
