Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your software development and integration expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in developing and integrating software modules for our train control systems, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Train Control Engineers, System Engineers, and Validation Engineers, while also providing support during train integration and validation processes and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of producing MPU Control Build Software Models and generating executable code for TCMS equipment, but also ensure compliance with development practices and provide support during supplier interface tests.
We’ll look to you for:

Delivering train software modules and integrating them according to the Engineering Work Package

Deploying and applying train control development procedures and processes
-
Developing software/modules for TCMS equipment while maximizing the reuse of standard configurable software components
-
Generating executable code and configuration for TCMS equipment like MPU and MCE
-
Producing software integration plans and providing reports
-
Supporting supplier interface tests, train integration, and validation
-
Managing Return on Experience (RoE) for design processes and applicative function libraries
-
Implementing development practices and rules as defined in Train Control support plans

Resolving and following up on configuration management issues raised by Quality Assurance

Managing individual software modules under configuration

Engineer degree or Master of Engineering from a recognized university or engineering school

Hands-on development experience in one or more software phases such as software development and hardware-software integration

Experience with IEC61131-3 software or model-based development tools like Matlab/Simulink, Control Build, etc.

Familiarity with real-time, distributed controllers and their functioning
-
Knowledge of real-time network protocols such as MVB, Ethernet, CAN, RS232, RS485
-
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Customer focus and management skills

Fluency in English and the national language of the site
