Could you be the full-time Software Designer/Software Test Engineer in [Bangalore] we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your software design and testing expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a key role in designing and developing test automation frameworks, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including development and quality assurance teams, to identify and prioritize test automation needs, analyze test results, and debug failures to ensure timely defect resolution. You’ll also explore new testing tools and techniques to continually innovate and improve our processes.
You’ll specifically take care of designing and developing test automation frameworks from scratch using Python, but also executing automated test scripts across multiple platforms and systems.
We’ll look to you for:

Exploring and implementing new testing tools and techniques

Collaborating with development and quality assurance teams

Analyzing test results and debugging failures

Defining test plans, test strategies, and test cases for distributed systems

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electrical, or Electronics)

Demonstrated Python knowledge for at least 3 years

Experience or understanding of Linux and Shell scripting

Knowledge of XML, JSON data, and API usage

Familiarity with system test automation and test case definition for distributed systems

Understanding of test plans and test strategies

Experience with protocols such as SNMP, TCP, UDP, OPCUA, and tools like Wireshark
-
Nice to have: Basic SQL, LUA scripting, UAT experience, performance testing exposure, and test bench definition
