Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your embedded systems expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a key role in delivering software modules, ensuring detailed design and implementation, and driving impactful contributions to our software development lifecycle. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Software Architects, Hardware Designers, and V&V Designers), contribute to standardization efforts, and support program deliverables aligned with quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) commitments.

You’ll specifically take care of developing software modules, including detailed design, coding, and testing, but also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain strong links with cross-functional teams.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Contributing to the elaboration of software specifications and architecture in collaboration with the Software Architect.

  • Performing detailed design, coding, and testing of software modules.

  • Setting up the software development toolchain.

  • Preparing and performing module tests and verifications (“Designer tests”) prior to formal testing by the V&V team.

  • Managing software work products under configuration management.

  • Supporting software/hardware integration and sustaining software solutions.

  • Staying informed about technological advancements through techno-watch.

  • Contributing to standardization by reusing or implementing reusable solutions.

  • Applying processes and standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.


All about you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent).

  • 8+ years of experience in embedded product development.

  • Strong programming skills in Python, C, Linux, and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).

  • Good knowledge of networking and cybersecurity concepts.

  • Hands-on experience with communication protocols like Ethernet, serial, and wireless.

  • Experience with tools like Wireshark (or equivalent) for network analysis.

  • Familiarity with GIT and containerized environment deployment and testing.

  • Knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP, and standards like CENELEC.

  • Experience in multi-core/multi-threading environments.

  • Strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to guide and influence in a matrix organization.

  • Prior experience working with European customers (preferred but not mandatory).
