Could you be the full-time Software Designer in Bangalore we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your embedded systems expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a highly motivated and innovative team.

You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering software modules that will shape the future of mobility. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Software Architects, Hardware Designers, and Validation & Verification (V&V) teams, to ensure quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) commitments, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of software module development, from detailed design and coding to integration and testing, but also contribute to continuous improvement and standardization efforts.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Collaborating with Software Architects to elaborate software specifications and architecture

  • Developing software modules, including detailed design, coding, and testing

  • Setting up software development tool chains

  • Performing software module tests and verifications

  • Managing software configuration according to the Configuration Management Plan

  • Supporting software/hardware integration and sustaining software work products

  • Conducting technology watch and contributing to reusable solutions

  • Applying processes, standards, and contributing to continuous improvement


All about you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (IT, CS, ECE, EEE) or equivalent

  • Strong experience (8+ years) in embedded product development, particularly in Linux environments

  • Programming skills in Python, C, and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)

  • Good knowledge of networking and cybersecurity concepts

  • Hands-on experience with communication protocols like Ethernet, serial, and wireless

  • Familiarity with tools like Wireshark (or equivalent) for network analysis

  • Experience with multi-core/multi-threading, TCP/IP, UDP protocols, and CENELEC standards

  • Exposure to GIT and containerized application deployment/testing (preferred)
