Could you be the full-time Software Designer in Bangalore we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your embedded product development expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside motivated and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a critical role in delivering software modules by ensuring detailed design and implementation while supporting program commitments to quality, cost, and delivery (QCD). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Software Architects, Hardware Designers, and V&V Designers, contributing to the development of complex embedded solutions, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of software module development, integration, and testing, but also contribute to continuous improvement and standardization efforts.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Contributing to the elaboration of software specifications and architecture in collaboration with the Software Architect

  • Performing detailed design, coding, and testing of software modules

  • Setting up the software development toolchain

  • Preparing and performing module tests and verifications

  • Supporting software/hardware integration

  • Applying processes and standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

  • Keeping informed of evolving technologies and implementing reusable solutions


All about you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent)

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in embedded product development

  • Strong programming skills in Python, C, Linux, and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)

  • Good knowledge of networking and cybersecurity concepts

  • Hands-on experience with communication protocols such as Ethernet, Serial, and Wireless

  • Experience with tools like Wireshark (or equivalent) for network analysis

  • Familiarity with multi-core/multi-threading environments

  • Knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP

  • Understanding of standards like CENELEC

  • Preferable: Experience with GIT and containerized application deployment/testing
