Your future role

You'll play a pivotal role in developing and delivering microservices by ensuring detailed design and implementation of features, contributing directly to the future of smarter and sustainable mobility. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Software Managers, Program Managers, Lead Architects, and Tech Leads), contribute to software specification and architecture, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of detailed software design and coding, as well as setting up software development toolchains, but also supporting software integration with hardware and sustaining the software lifecycle.
We’ll look to you for:

Contributing to the elaboration of software specifications and architecture in collaboration with the Software Architect

Performing detailed design and coding of software modules
-
Setting up and maintaining the software development toolchain
-
Preparing and conducting module tests and verifications
-
Ensuring software configuration management as per the Configuration Management Plan

Supporting software and hardware integration activities
-
Engaging in continuous improvement through Return on Experience (RoE) and process refinement
-
Keeping informed about technology advancements through active techno-watch
-
Contributing to standardization efforts by reusing or creating reusable solutions

A degree in BE/B.Tech/M.Tech with 6 to 12 years of software design and development experience

Experience in enterprise software development using C#, .Net 5 and above, and microservices architecture

Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, multithreading, XML, and UML
-
Familiarity with design and deployment methodologies (V-cycle, SysML, requirement management)
-
Knowledge of network protocols (e.g., OPC, SOAP, 0MQ) and modern railway signalling technologies (IP networks, embedded software, XML technology) – optional

Experience with AKS, VMware/OpenShift – optional

Fluency in English
-
Autonomy, proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills

Preferred experience from engineering captive units or signalling companies

Experience working with European customers – not mandatory but beneficial
