Could you be the full-time Software Designer in [LOCATION] we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your software design expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll contribute to delivering software modules by ensuring detailed design and implementation, supporting our mission to create reliable, high-quality solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Software Architects, V&V Designers, and Hardware Designers), develop and verify software modules, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of software development and configuration management, but also support integration and sustain the software lifecycle.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Contributing to the elaboration of software specifications and architecture alongside the Software Architect

  • Performing detailed design and coding of software modules

  • Setting up the software development toolchain

  • Preparing and performing software module tests and verifications

  • Supporting software and hardware integration

  • Applying processes, standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives


All about you

  • Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Engineering – IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent

  • 5+ years of experience in designing software modules for complex embedded systems

  • Experience with Embedded/RTOS applications and adherence to software processes and coding guidelines

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, ADA, and scripting languages like Python

  • Knowledge of multi-core/multi-threading RTOS (Linux, VX Works, QNX)

  • Familiarity with protocols such as TCP/IP and CAN

  • Understanding of standards like CENELEC SIL4 / DO178A / DO178B

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a matrix organization

  • Flair for learning technologies specific to the railway domain

  • Innovative mindset with experience in creating reusable solutions and reference libraries

  • Experience in working with European customers is a plus
