Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your software engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and results-driven teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of software architecture, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Product Architects, Hardware Architects, System Engineering Managers, and Quality teams), define technical strategies, and lead software development activities, among other responsibilities.

You’ll specifically take care of defining software requirements and architecture, as well as coordinating software development activities, but also contribute to standardization efforts and continuous improvement initiatives.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Defining software requirements specifications, including functional, operational, and interface requirements

  • Developing and validating software architecture, including functional and structural breakdowns

  • Leading major technical choices and ensuring the feasibility of solutions

  • Performing software integration (SW/SW and HW/SW) and testing

  • Coordinating software development activities and ensuring traceability of requirements

  • Contributing to the definition of technical management plans, including development and configuration management plans

  • Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity, safety, and quality standards

  • Driving continuous improvement and knowledge sharing through Return of Experience (REX) and standardization efforts


All about you

  • Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Engineering – IT, Computer Science, ECE, EEE, or equivalent

  • 10+ years of experience in software development and design using object-oriented methodologies and design patterns

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React.js) and back-end technologies (e.g., C#, ASP.NET, Web API)

  • Knowledge of databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks

  • Experience in designing cybersecure applications and applying design thinking and threat modeling

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Proficiency in tools such as Git, UML, and debugging tools

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to guide and influence in a matrix organization

  • Experience in railway signaling or similar industries is a plus
