JOB PURPOSE:
Reporting to the IS&T Lead architect, you will be assisting to manage simulation portfolio by developing and maintaining the Simulation tools architecture and to ensure overall consistency on its applicative landscape. 


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Ensure alignment with Métiers global business processes for Simulation/CAE domain.
•    Collect and manage demands of simulation from Alstom central business in coordination with Methods & Tools team. 
•    Manage simulation licenses renewals by analyzing the business requirements vs licenses usage, new needs, business case, preparing synthesis document and ensuring the needs are aligned with the budget. 
•    Assist in developing IS&T roadmaps to continuously rationalize the solutions landscape, in collaboration with businesses and IS&T teams
•    Lead IS&T simulation projects by performing requirement assessment, exploring the alternatives, designing the architecture & solution, preparing project launch synthesis while coordinating with different stakeholders (business, cloud, network, cybersecurity, run, sourcing etc.) and working with project management.
•    Manage Business as usual (BaU) activities to ensure simulation business continuity, and manage the run issue with Operations manager and partners, when required.
•    Lead recommendation for new application integrations, software upgrade and implementation of new processes and product enhancements with Operations Manager.
•    Maintain solution referential & design documentation (simulation applications portfolio information, project documentations, simulation presentations etc.)
•    Promote Alstom Core Model, by leading evolution and Ensuring its consistency.
•    Analyze technology industry and business trends and determine their potential applicability at Alstom.
•    Contribute in developing strategies to enhance simulation software solutions to help business in reducing physical prototypes of rolling stock and components. 


PROFILE:
To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes:
•    Graduated with an engineering degree in Mechanical, Computer science or IT, with more than 8 years of experience in Simulation/CAE domain and related applications on various roles in (business / technical architecture / solution deployment etc.)
•    Good knowledge on Simulation business processes for industries.
•    Worked for global companies either as a service provider or as a customer, ideally both roles
•    Good knowledge of HPC and cloud solutions for simulation will be highly preferred.
•    Strong experience in CAE applications regarding architecture and administration. 
•    Good exposure in some of the following simulation domains/solutions – FEA and Crash (Hyperworks) , CFD (StarCCM+, Powerflow), Acoustics (VA One) , Multibody dynamics (Simpack), Multiphysics (ANSYS Multiphysics, Feko, Flux, Ansys Motors), System modelling (Dymola) and Thermal (Flotherm/FloEFD)
•    You demonstrate good efficiency and ability to execute. You are result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity.
•    You have a very strong leadership and are business value oriented.
•    Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom
•    This role requires good communication, collaboration, team work, quick learning and negotiation skills.
