Could you be the full-time Services - ISR Manager in Bangalore we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and technical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative, innovative, and dedicated team of professionals.

You'll play a key role in managing the extended ISR project team to deliver on contractual obligations and ensure excellence in quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) targets. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including sourcing, engineering, and central functions, to ensure seamless collaboration, develop and implement key processes, and manage stakeholder relationships.

You’ll specifically take care of overseeing the ISR project team, consolidating workload forecasts, and ensuring compliance with international standards, but also lead the competency development of the ISR team and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Managing the extended ISR project team (including ISR project leads, LSA, maintenance documentation, training, and special tools) to deliver ISR contractual obligations across the project portfolio
  • Consolidating and presenting ISR activity reporting data for Regions Business Reviews
  • Defining and implementing staffing strategies in agreement with ISR domain leads
  • Leading competency development for the ISR team in line with Alstom's requirements and processes
  • Consolidating workload forecasts and ensuring proper staffing to secure execution of ISR work packages
  • Validating ISR Design and Work Package (WP) Reviews
  • Developing and promoting standard ISR practices compliant with international standards and Alstom procedures
  • Managing coordination with sourcing teams and other engineering functions to ensure smooth collaboration
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives, including the induction training program and APSYS implementation

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering management roles within projects, with people and QCD responsibility
  • Experience in managing large and/or complex engineering teams
  • Proven track record in managing engineering work packages and project stakeholders
  • Experience in Rolling Stock Maintenance, Signalling, or Infrastructure Maintenance, ideally within a maintenance contract
  • Knowledge of standards and regulations for railways
  • Strong leadership skills, including team management, managing diversity, and managerial courage
  • Technical knowledge in maintainability, LCC (Life Cycle Cost), LSA, configuration management, and prognostics and health management (PHM)
  • Effective communication and customer interfacing skills
  • Familiarity with serviceability improvement and change management processes
