JOB PURPOSE :

 

Reporting to the service delivery And Project manager from Cloud and Compute team , Service delivery manager is the primary interface between the Compute and Cloud and related Providers, internal IS&T, Alstom Business Solution functions and Business for in scope Service Delivery and Projects

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITES :

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

 

  • Maintain Business Relationship and Service management In Compute and Cloud side
    • Making the relationship between Compute and Cloud customers inside and outside IS&T organisation.
    • Organise weekly / monthly session with all business partners in all Alstom regions  to present Cloud and Compute in scope activities, projects and new services
    • Manage and report with a dashboard any compute and cloud escalation coming from business or any other compute and cloud clients and build the associated action plan to mitigate business issues
    • Communicate with IS&T team leaders  to evaluate joint initiatives and proposals to see how they align with established roadmaps and business priorities.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement Plan and traceability of actions related to Compute and cloud activities.
    • Keep Compute and Cloud clients of new approaches to service delivery which could be applied within ALSTOM by compute and cloud and related providers
    • promote the best practices in use within the IS&T organisation for every services related to Compute and cloud
    • Contribute to the Business transformation by ensuring the compute and Cloud communication with Alstom IS&T and Business when required

 

  • Manage all the Infrastructure Project Demands coming from Alstom requesters (cloud and compute demand management process)
    • Regular meetings with IS&T PMO team to catchup all new incoming demand involving compute and cloud
    • Manage the Project Pipeline of all IS&T project requesting Compute and Cloud Support and providers execution ( yearly Roadmap)
    • Make the first assessment of each of the demands for compute and Cloud
    • Organise internal meetings for people assignment on all demands coming into  the  compute and cloud ( Architecture / Service delievy and Projects/ Operations)
    • Ensure the team workload updated on weekly basis (capacity management)
    • Ensure all projects and services in the pipeline to the cloud and compute Team  and associated partners.
    • Ensure standard service delivery with a particular focus on Services and Projects Delivery

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology,

 

EXPERIENCE :  

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Business RelationShip  management  and/or  Service delivery management

 

Competencies and Skills :

The Business Relationship manager role is typically a senior-level position, for which candidates need a wide range of experience, hard and soft skills and education to fill the job requirements.

  • Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of Alstom
  • German language skills will have a real added value in the New Alstom context
