Could you be the full-time Senior Radio Engineer in Bangalore we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your radio engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a key role in delivering N&T Sub-System Radio specifications and architecture that align with the System Delivery Plan. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as installation teams, cybersecurity teams, and power experts), support deployment activities (installation, testing, and commissioning), and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of elaborating N&T Radio Design specifications and architecture, as well as preparing and executing Radio Interference and trackside surveys, but also supporting functional validation phases and troubleshooting tasks.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Developing and eliciting Radio Design requirements in line with project needs, with a focus on Radio spectrum management and cybersecurity concerns

  • Studying country-specific spectrum standards/regulations for RF product usage

  • Identifying technology requirements/gaps in collaboration with Product Architects

  • Ensuring Radio Design documents align with project milestones and quality processes

  • Minimizing deployment costs, lead times, and risks through effective design

  • Providing iterations of installation studies and Radio configuration files throughout the project lifecycle

  • BE/Master’s degree in Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience in radio deployments in industrial environments, including interference mitigation

  • Knowledge of WiFi protocols (802.11a/b/n/ac) and 4G/LTE

  • Proficiency in monitoring tools and techniques (e.g., spectrum analyzers, IP analyzers, MIB principles)

  • Strong understanding of Radio propagation and solutions

  • Experience in IT/Supervision and signalling/system architecture (desirable)

  • Technical coordination and interpersonal skills

  • Resilience, process orientation, and a team-player mindset
