Could you be the full-time IT Solution Architect – Bangalore we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your system integration and IT architecture expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.

You'll play a critical role in shaping IT solutions that align with customer projects and Alstom’s digital transformation goals. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including tender, project, and technical experts), manage architecture documents for IT deliveries, and ensure solutions integrate applications, infrastructure, security, and services blocks seamlessly.

You’ll specifically take care of designing IT solutions as part of customer project organizations, but also ensure alignment with ONEXIS architecture standards and manage interdependencies with on-board software.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Understanding customer project requirements, stakeholders, and contractual schemes

  • Mastering Alstom’s digital solutions portfolio and ONEXIS technical blocks

  • Designing IT solutions and services aligned with ONEXIS architecture standards

  • Managing gaps to standard solutions and providing feedback to central teams

  • Driving IT technical experts during project execution

  • Balancing cost, sustainability, and operability in solution design

  • Ensuring technical constraints are clearly communicated to project teams


All about you

  • Engineering degree or equivalent, preferably in information technology

  • 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with significant expertise on Azure Cloud (AZ-305 certification required)

  • Strong understanding of IT disciplines, including security, infrastructure, cloud, and application logic

  • Experience in system integration and requirement management

  • Capacity to functionally manage technical teams from diverse disciplines

  • Understanding of contractual elements related to IT topics

  • Strong communication, leadership, and change management skills

  • Fluent in English and comfortable working in an international, matrix environment

  • Eagerness to explore the railway business and its relationship with software on-board

  • Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a results-oriented mindset
