The primary responsibility of the Security Analyst – Secure Development is to support Alstom internal development team in incorporating security processes, requirements and controls into their development, following several methodologies (Agile, Waterfall). He will also be identified as the security contact in charge of supporting the build of Alstom digital platofrms for security aspects.

They will work closely with security architects, security operational managers, Solution Architects & Operations to build and manage secure development framework.

It will also as part of their mission ensures that IS&T projects includes and respects Security processes and requirements as defined in the Integration of Security into Projects Alstom methodology.


Direct report to the Head of Information Security Architecture & standards based in Saint-Ouen near Paris (France).

                   Security Analyst/ Architect

  • Main interlocutor for Agile and non-agile developers on security topics
  • Contributes to ensure that security processes and policies are well integrated into IT projects
  • Responsible for providing risk oversight by ensuring proper insight is given to the security leadership team for taking informed decisions on matters related to information security
  • Feasibility engagements with business groups to ensure security requirements are discussed and incorporated early in the process.
  • Assesses risks and identifies issues and solutions to timely and efficiently achieve program goals or project objectives while maintaining security standards.
  • Maintain and share the security watch (latest market trends and intelligence related to security domain) in the team
  • Support business needs in developing and maintaining application, network and systems requirements in accordance with security standards
  • Analyze vulnerability management reports / external threats and recommend remediation actions based on application risk profile and environment.
  • In­Depth understanding of various information security tools and technologies

To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant IT experience
  • Professional industry standard certifications like CEH, GIAC,  ISO 27002 etc. will be an added advantage (desired)
  • Experience with various IT / Security technologies ­ including development and security frameworks (Jspresso, Qualys, docker,…) - Mandatory
  • Proficient hands ­on experience and understanding of various security tools and technologies.
  • Proven planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated drive for continuous learning, results ­orientation, and teamwork
  • Ability to manage projects and drive action items with customers and cross­functional peers
  • Professional & concise communication (written & verbal)
  • Ability and flexibility to adapt to change, including shifting and competing priorities
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability
  • Project management skills with a proven ability to design workable solutions will be an added advantage
  • Exposure to ISO 27002 and ISO 27005 (desired)
