OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
 He/She will be responsible to provide business-driven end-to-end solutions to meet our customers’ needs in gaining insights from our enterprise data, Animate and reinforce BI and Data Analytics governance as well as designing technical architecture to ensure a stable solution for our customer centered around the BW on HANA platform.

He/She will also be responsible for leading complex implementation, developing strategies, integration, enhancement of projects.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering /Technology or related field

Core Technical Skills

1. SAP BW (Business Warehouse)
   • BW Data modeling (InfoObjects, DSOs, InfoCubes, CompositeProviders)
   • ETL processes using DataSources, Transformations, and DTPs
   • Advanced DSO (aDSO) and Open ODS Views
   • Start, end and expert routine
   • Hybrid modelling with HANA and BW
2. SAP BW Integrated Planning (BW-IP)
   • Planning-enabled InfoProviders ,Planning functions and planning sequences
   • Aggregation levels , Filters and characterstic relationships
   • FOX formulas, SQlScript and ABAP exits for custom planning logic
   • Locking mechanisms and data slices
   • Support end-to-end planning cycles including data collection, validation, simulation, and reporting.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to planning applications and data models.
   • Document technical specifications, configuration, and user guides.
3. SAP BPC (Optional but Valuable)
   • Embedded model integration with BW-IP
   • BPC planning functions and script logic
4. ABAP Programming
   • Custom planning functions, customer exit variables -- CMOD and BADIs
   • Enhancements and user exits in BW-IP
   • Debugging and performance tuning
5. SAP Analysis for Office (AO)
   • Planning layouts and input-ready queries
   • Integration with Excel for planning scenarios
6. SAP BusinessObjects / SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud)
   • Integration with BW-IP for planning and reporting
   • SAC Planning (if transitioning from BW-IP to SAC)
7. SAP HANA
   • HANA views (Attribute, Analytic, Calculation Views)
   • SQLScript for advanced data manipulation
   • Performance tuning and optimization

 Functional & Analytical Skills

• Understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Knowledge of cost center planning, profit center planning, sales planning, etc.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical planning solutions

 Tools & Utilities

• SAP GUI and Eclipse-based BW Modeling Tools
• SAP HANA Studio / Web IDE
• Transport Management System (Charm)
• Debugging tools and performance analysis (ST05, RSRT, RSTT)
