IS&T SAP ARIBA Procurement Solution Specialist

Based: Bangalore (India)

The Procurement stream is composed of two business activities: sourcing and procurement. The purchasing solution expert’s role is to ensure that the solutions for these business activities follow the defined core model.  This includes SAP ARIBA solution as well as SAP ECC6 MM.  You will need to interact with internal and external stakeholders.  In order to respond to our increased number of sites, which is a result of our accelerated deployment roadmap, we are looking for a SAP ARIBA procurement expert to integrate our team. You will keep growing inside this team and improve your skills and capabilities to become more and more autonomous.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an ARIBA solution expert, you are in charge of:

Ensuring that procurement Core Model (Solution + processes & rules) is well documented, evolves consistently and is not jeopardized by localization

Supporting solution Roll-out, ensuring that Core Model is applied

Delivering procurement Core Model evolution in accordance (change requests & project execution) with Métier strategy

Interacting with Operations teams by monitoring their activities & providing functional expertise when needed

In order to be able to execute all the responsibilities’ above, you will be working with our external partners.  In addition, you will be constantly liaising between partners and local business in order to drive the different projects successfully.  When it comes to our applicative landscape, you will be working not only with partners and business but also with other IS&T teams in other pillars. Your functional expertise will be needed in order to deliver the different projects with high quality and on time. 

Your Functional scope contains following business processes:

ARIBA Downstream and Upstream : functional and technical

Following specific processes/features : Guided Buying, Tactical Sourcing, Guided Sourcing

CIG integration with ECC6

API integrations with external systems for reporting or intefacing

Sourcing and Procurement Master Data management

PROFILE:

Language skills: English expertise is a must both spoken and written.

Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology, you have more than 3 years of experience in SAP ARIBA procurement solutions.

A strong knowledge of SAP ARIBA Buying and Sourcing Suite, with a particular focus on the following objects and processes :

    - Functional and Technical experience in customizing and administration of ARIBA Downstream and Upstream
    - Master Data
    - Users & Groups management
    - Guided Buying & Buying Channels
    - Tactical Sourcibng
    - Guided Sourcing
    - CIG integration with ECC6
    - API integrations with external systems
    - Interactions through Ariba Connect
    - Incident and defect management
