Could you be the full-time Defect, Release, and Change Manager in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in defect, release, and change management to a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and driven teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality software solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (QA, Development, Business, and Change Advisory Board teams), facilitate defect triage and prioritization, and ensure compliance with change management processes and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of managing the complete defect lifecycle and executing software releases, but also maintaining process governance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
We’ll look to you for:

Managing the complete defect lifecycle from identification to resolution

Coordinating defect triage and prioritization with QA, Development, and Business teams

Tracking and reporting defect metrics, trends, and KPIs

Planning and executing software releases across various environments
-
Ensuring release readiness and conducting post-release reviews

Facilitating root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
-
Reviewing and assessing change requests for risk, impact, and readiness
-
Leading defect triage meetings, release planning sessions, and critical incident war rooms

Documenting, publishing, and periodically reviewing process documents as per Alstom QMS process

8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in Defect, Release, or Change Management roles

Strong stakeholder management and program management skills

Experience with Change Management processes and tools

Hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow for change and incident tracking

Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, and DevOps methodologies
-
Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills

Ability to lead process adoption programs and ensure compliance to processes
