Could you be the full-time Safety Asssurance Engineer in Bangalore we’re looking for?


 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your safety and analytical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety of our innovative mobility solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management, and quality assurance), contribute to safety reviews, and support actions to address findings from both internal and external assessors.

You’ll specifically take care of delivering safety analyses under the guidance of the Project Safety Assurance Manager (PSAM), but also assist in the development of safety reports and cases.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Performing safety analyses with strict adherence to processes outlined in the Signalling Safety Instruction

  • Contributing to the preparation of Safety Reports and Safety Cases under PSAM guidance

  • Applying safety assurance methodologies such as risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification, and validation

  • Attending and contributing to periodic Safety Reviews

  • Supporting actions to resolve findings raised by internal and external assessors

  • Ensuring compliance with quality and delivery standards for safety deliverables

  • Degree in Engineering, Safety, or a related field

  • Experience or understanding of safety assurance processes and methodologies

  • Knowledge of risk assessment and safety analysis techniques

  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the rail or transport industry

  • A certification in safety engineering or a related field

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
