Could you be the full-time RAMS Engineer in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS) expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll contribute to ensuring the safety and reliability of our products while meeting quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) commitments. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, such as Engineering Design, Validation, and Project teams, and contribute to the assessment of product performance and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of performing RAMS analysis, and ensure compliance with applicable Alstom/Engineering RAMS processes and instructions.
We’ll look to you for:

Performing RAMS analyses in alignment with customer and project requirements

Delivering compliant RAMS analyses within QCD commitments
-
Contributing to the assessment of RAMS performance and identifying necessary safety requirements
-
Applying Alstom/Engineering rules and processes to all RAMS-related activities
-
Proactively reporting progress and addressing challenges with the Train/Subsystem RAMS Engineer and leadership
-
Challenging RAMS data and results to enhance study adequacy and consistency
-
Developing a technical understanding of Alstom products to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities
-
Fostering a product-oriented mindset to capitalize on study results for product enhancements

Degree in Electrical, Electro-mechanical, or Rolling Stock Engineering

3-5 years' experience or understanding of RAMS analysis and demonstration methods

Knowledge of engineering validation processes

Familiarity with tools used in RAMS analysis

A structured and organised approach with strong time management skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

English proficiency for reading and writing technical documentation
