Overall Purpose of the Role:

  • Full ownership of the Risk, Savings and Opportunities and daily drive with the Prxm and close follow up of the monthly targets, audit readiness to be ensured at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Risk Management: Co-ordinate with different stakeholders to identify project risk, criticality, impact analysis & mitigation actions to convert the potential risk into an opportunity. The RAMP should be kept audit compliance at anytime
  • Saving Management: Drive project saving sessions to ensure end to end execution- starting from ideation, evaluation & realization of saving to improve gross margin. The SAMP should be kept audit compliance at anytime
  • Audit – Process compliance and implementation. Audit Readiness to be ensured at all times
  • Special Projects: To analyze project key issues, do cost-benefit analysis & prepare business cases which will be helpful for the top management to make decision for the benefit of the organization
  • Work as an interface between different métiers to secure on time execution of RAMP & SAMP actions.
  • Lead in improving project’s Gross Margin while mitigating the risk and identifying new potential saving.
  • Presentation: Support Project Manager for Monthly/ Critical project reviews. Responsible for preparation of Management Presentation for both external as well as internal stakeholders (Customer/Supplier).
  • Dashboards: Build dashboards on excel and efficient, user friendly reports for analysis that links to strategic objectives and support on execution of the same.
  • Team Support: Report project teams' issues and problems, working collaboratively with them, do analysis and come up with recommendations to support the project team to deliver measurable results.
  • Operation Management: Continuous monitoring & tracking of project activities and actual incurrence of investments with a view to avoid cost & time overruns while meeting expected quality level at Alstom standard.

 Education

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • MBA from Tier- I/II B-schools

Desired Knowledge

  • Background in management presentation/ business case/ financial analysis, with a minimum of 5 years management experience of a substantially sized team
  • Financial and Commercial awareness
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong Leadership skills, able to drive the team to achieve on time results.
