Could you be the full-time Project RS On-Board Design Leader in Bangalore we’re looking for?

Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in on-board electronic system design in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

 

You'll play a pivotal role in delivering systems approved by our customers and aligned with project schedules. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Core Team, Rolling Stock engineering team, and supplier product quality development managers), provide design specifications, and ensure the successful validation and integration of on-board systems.

 

You’ll specifically take care of system architecture development, defining and allocating requirements, and evaluating design trade-offs, but also closely coordinate verification, validation, and deployment activities.

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Providing design specifications and validation monitoring solutions until customer acceptance
  • Ensuring external interfaces are consistent with the system
  • Supervising and participating in system deliveries, including requirements management, architecture definition, and system performance
  • Organizing and leading Design Reviews
  • Defining and supporting functional validation phases of systems
  • Ensuring all domain activities adhere to quality processes
  • Coordinating with suppliers to ensure alignment with Alstom standards and project schedules
  • Participating in risk and savings reviews for your scope

  • Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience or understanding of on-board electronic system design
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, cybersecurity concepts, and system troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Linux environments, CI/CD pipelines, and GIT version control
  • A strong programming expertise in C++ and Python
  • Experience in requirement management and stakeholder coordination
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies
