Could you be the full-time Project RS on-board design Engineer in our Project Engineering Team we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your electronic or electrical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, solution-focused, and collaborative teammates.
You'll lead the design process for on-board systems such as network systems, passenger information systems, and communication systems, ensuring customer approval and alignment with project schedules. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Core Team, Rolling Stock engineering team, Products/Systems development teams), supervise system deliveries, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of developing system architecture, defining and allocating requirements, and keeping close coordination with verification and validation activities, but also contribute to the functional validation phase of the system.
We’ll look to you for:

Delivering systems that meet quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) commitments

Ensuring technical consistency and interface management with external systems

Leading Design Reviews and participating in system performance evaluations

Adhering to quality processes within the domain/métier activities
-
Providing transparency in Project Engineering WP QCD performance
-
Engaging in Risk and Savings Reviews for your scope
-
Managing supplier relationships and integration when solutions are purchased

Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering

Experience in on-board electronic system design

Knowledge of network & telecom solutions, and cybersecurity standards (desirable)

Familiarity with QCD supplier management

A certification in a relevant field (if applicable)

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in on-board electronic system design
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in QCD/team management
