Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in configuration and change management in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a key role in mastering the quality of deliveries by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and traceability of the delivered products and services through the application of CCM activities. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, supply chain, industrialization, and project management), lead CCM activities in projects and programs, and ensure the implementation of standard processes and tools, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of organizing and leading Change Boards, ensuring the traceability of every change request, and preparing configuration strategies and release notes, but also contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned and process enhancements.
We’ll look to you for:

Leading CCM activities in projects/programs

Ensuring adherence to the Alstom Code of Ethics and the highest standards of ethical conduct

Applying and ensuring compliance with CCM standard procedures, instructions, and templates
-
Representing the CCM Métier in project/program and site meetings
-
Evaluating and providing compliance statements on all CCM-related requirements
-
Ensuring training for all functional representatives involved in projects/programs
-
Reporting and escalating any CCM-related issues and proposing possible solutions
-
Performing configuration management and change management activities across the project lifecycle
-
Maintaining configuration status accounting reports and ensuring traceability of configuration items
-
Facilitating supplier configuration management and ensuring compliance with CCM requirements

Degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent) in any discipline

Overall 10 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a configuration and change management role

Knowledge of business process management, project management, risk management, requirements management, supply chain, engineering, industrialization, data management, and document control
-
Experience in the entire CCM lifecycle of a project/program
-
Mandatory knowledge of railway products, solutions (signalling, telecom, etc.), systems, and components
-
Proficiency in CCM tools (e.g., ALM, Clear Quest, Clear Case, SAP, PLM, AEC-tpPLM)

Strong communication skills for collaboration with project/program stakeholders

Systematic, rigorous, proactive, and organized with attention to detail
-
Ability to contribute to continuous improvement on processes and standards

Driven for results with strong multi-tasking and influencing skills

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
