Could you be the full-time Product Cost Analyst - Electrical in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and analytical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside proactive, collaborative, and dynamic teammates.
You'll play a key role in optimizing the technical cost of our products and supporting cross-functional teams to deliver cost-efficient solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Tender Team, Project Engineering Core Team, Sourcing Team, and Industrial Team), develop costing tools for the network, and contribute to the creation of target costs for tenders and projects.
You’ll specifically take care of calculating technical costs (Should Cost / Could Cost) using appropriate tools, ensuring product feasibility, and supporting sourcing negotiations, but also promoting cost culture and design-to-cost initiatives within the engineering team.
We’ll look to you for:

Using cost models to calculate the technical cost of products

Identifying key cost drivers and proposing design improvements

Providing detailed cost breakdowns and supporting sourcing negotiations

Ensuring consistency and feasibility of industrial processes

Generating and formalizing design-to-cost ideas and savings opportunities

Sharing feedback from suppliers and proposing design rules to engineering teams

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

2-5 years of experience in product cost analysis within industries such as automotive, railway, or infrastructure

Experience in electrical, electro-mechanical, or automation engineering

Knowledge of electrical and schematic design activities

Understanding of industrial processes and costing methodologies (Should Cost / Could Cost)

Familiarity with network topologies, industrial communication networks, and tools like IEC61131-3, Matlab/Simulink, or Control Build
-
Knowledge of quality gates (V-Cycle) and standards such as EMC, maintainability, and safety
-
Fluent in English with strong collaboration, agility, and proactive mindset

Proficiency in Pack Office tools
