Could you be the full-time Configuration and Change Manager in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your configuration and change management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and traceability of configuration data while building strong client relationships. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management, and quality assurance), manage configuration baselines, and provide structured updates to stakeholders, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of configuration baseline management and release management, but also support audits and ensure compliance with standards.
We’ll look to you for:
-
Acting as a primary interface for configuration and change management topics with clients.
-
Presenting Release Notes, CCB reports, and CR dashboards to client stakeholders in a clear and structured manner.
-
Creating and maintaining configuration and documentation baselines in AEC tpPLM and SharePoint DOC4A tools.
-
Ensuring baselines are established in alignment with approved Release Notes and frozen after review cycles and approvals.
-
Collaborating with cross-functional and client teams to resolve configuration and change-related queries efficiently.
-
Supporting client audits by explaining CM processes, demonstrating tool usage (tpPLM, DOC4A, CQ), and providing required evidence/documentation.
-
Preparing and updating Release Notes based on baseline data and project inputs.
-
Conducting configuration reviews and audits for each release to ensure proper linking of Configuration Items (CIs) and document traceability.
-
Monitoring and managing Change Requests (CRs) across tools and generating CR monitoring dashboards.
-
Authoring and maintaining key documents, ensuring version control and synchronization across systems.
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
-
Degree in engineering, information systems, or a related field.
-
Experience or understanding of configuration and change management processes.
-
Knowledge of tools like tpPLM, SharePoint DOC4A, EWM, and IBM Clear Quest.
-
Familiarity with baseline management, version control, and release processes.
-
A certification in configuration management (e.g., CMII) is a plus.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Excellent documentation and client-facing communication skills.
-
Attention to detail and an audit readiness mindset.
