Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive technical expertise in a dynamic and innovative field. You’ll work alongside talented, collaborative, and forward-thinking teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in driving the technical development of our products in alignment with the product strategy for the Train Development Site (TDS). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including the Product Director, Product Manager, High-Speed Technical Director, and TDS & PU Engineering teams), manage cross-functional technical activities, and ensure the validation of all product deliverables.

You’ll specifically take care of implementing product requirements and ensuring compliance with product development plans, but also validating technical deliverables and proposing future improvements to enhance competitiveness.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Acting as the main technical focal point for the TDS concerning all product engineering activities

  • Managing product development with TDS, PU, and TSS teams

  • Ensuring development compliance and planning follow-up

  • Validating all technical deliverables and reporting on project technical execution

  • Escalating and resolving product technical issues and decisions

  • Proposing and following competitiveness actions and sustaining activities for product improvement

  • Participating in technical gap analysis and tender reviews

  • Ensuring project developments align with product strategy

  • Coordinating technical outputs for Product Reviews and Boards (PRBs)

  • Engineering degree (mandatory); a technical degree is a plus

  • Extensive technical knowledge of Alstom platforms (preferably in High-Speed solutions)

  • Experience in managing cross-functional activities and working with diverse stakeholders

  • Strong leadership and ability to align teams on technical orientations to achieve quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) targets

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills in complex environments

  • Ability to work across multiple sites in a multicultural environment

  • Experience in technical, general, and project management
