The Selected candidate will work with a highly motivated team involved in development of complex embedded solutions. The candidate will join with our Bangalore development center and will travel to our platform development center located in Europe. The Ideal candidate will be part of Product Development team in Bangalore.



As a Product Architect, you will develop and deliver products in line with product roadmap.

You will interface with Program manager, Design Authority in the definition of the technical answer to the need expressed by the Solution Director and the specific user project needs.


  • With the Design Authority and the Product Program Manager, define and agree on the Product Development roadmap that he/she commits to deliver;
  • With the Product Program Manager, provide QCD estimation on Bids and user projects requests and support System Application Architects in gap analysis/QCD quotation;
  • With the Product Program Manager, manage the Product Development team for both internal (Products Engineering) and external (buy) developments, ensuring respect of QCD commitments (I.e.: supporting the developers in making the software modification required and analyzing the delivered code);
  • Ensure technical coordination, arbitrate design choice (with Design Authority for the main ones);
  • Apply and contribute to improvement of the Product Development processes, methods & tools as defined by the Methods and Tools organization;
  • Specify the Product characteristics and ensure that the Product delivers the performance levels expected as defined in the Product roadmap and meet Systems and Platforms expectations;
  • Organize the Product Design Reviews;
  • Support Make or Buy analysis and arbitration;
  • Develop design-to-cost approach in developments to decrease future evolution costs;
  • Support Product Program V&V Manager to define the best Product validation policy and strategy;
  • Contribute to the definition of the Product Quality Plan;
  • Alert the reporting structure for any event that could impact product development QCD commitments;
  • Manage Product Requirements: ensure the traceability of the product requirements (from product level down to software and hardware level) and ensure that each product requirement has been addressed by V&V through the whole development cycle;
  • Manage Product Configuration, Change Management and deliveries: establish and maintain the configuration baselines, perform configuration reviews, lead the Change Control Board (CCB) with the Product Manager.


Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor/Post Graduate in Engineering – IT, CS, ECE & EEE or Equivalent



Outstanding Technical leader with proven track record in managing multi software programs towards successful delivery.

Be Innovative and  be aligned to new product development technologies and methods.

Demonstrate excellent communication skills and able to guide, influence and convince others in a matrix organization.

Team Player with prior experience in working with European customer is not mandatory but preferable.                                               




Minimum 12 years of experience managing/ leading complex projects and provide technical expertise in embedded systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing Safe software solutions to build complex embedded systems, and providing technical leadership within the Team. The ideal applicant will able to thrive in a highly collaborative workplace and actively engage in the development process spread across different geographical locations. Significant experience in delivery of design, analysis, development, testing and delivery.  Rail industry background is highly desirable, alternatively similar industries can also be considered.


  • Language Skills:
    • Programming: C, C++, ADA, Scripting languages (Python,..)
    • Any Real time embedded OS , Multi core / Multi-Threading
    •  Understanding of Model based design
    • Protocols – TCP/IP, CAN…
    • Deep knowledge on Standards: CENELEC SIL4 / DO178A / DO178B
  • Location for the role? Travel? If yes, how much (%): Bangalore, Long/Short term Travel to Europe
